The next generation of reach-for-the-stars supper club entrepreneurs are found at The Peak in rural Minnesota.
It rolls like this:
“Hometown Girl” meets a Jamaican chef in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. They move back to Clitherall to become owner-operators of the supper club at the base of the Inspiration Peak, the mountain that inspired local author Sinclair Lewis. The locals are introduced to out-of-this-world suppers like seasonal Jamaican jerk pasta and the Minnesota supper club stable of walleye, here broiled with paprika. The Peak is worth the drive of discovery.
Oh my! I’m salivating. I haven’t eaten red meat in almsot 10 years, but that looks delicious. Especially the combo with blue cheese. My Sunday School class has a supper club….might have to steal that idea!
